Illawarra Womens Circle

A reset for the Modern Woman to Reconnect
with her Strength & Wisdom Within

Final Womens Circle for 2025

Thursday 4th December, 2025 - Shellharbour LGA (location TBC) at 5:30pm

This is your chance to join us for a soul-steadying pause before the silly season begins.

This circle is for women who want to exhale the year, reconnect with themselves, and step into summer feeling clearer, lighter, and more grounded.

Women’s circles are sacred spaces rooted in an ancient tradition where women gathered in ceremonial circles aligned with the cycles of the moon. These rituals connected women to the natural world, celebrated the feminine, and strengthened community. Today, they continue as safe, judgment-free spaces to share truth, reconnect with ourselves and nature, and build genuine sisterhood.

As women, we are stronger together. Life pulls us in many directions, and we need places where we can pause, be honest, and refill our cup. Circles offer that space — a moment to breathe, to be witnessed, to feel understood, and to remember we’re not navigating life alone. Through shared connection, we access the wisdom and strength we hold individually and collectively.

Join us under the full moon — a moment to reset, reconnect, and return to yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens in a women’s circle?
Each circle begins with a grounding ritual to create a safe and intentional space. This is followed by sharing around a theme, where each woman can express herself while others listen deeply. There are no expectations to speak; simply being present is enough. The circle may include meditation, journaling, or feminine rituals.

Do I need to share?
Not at all. Sharing is optional. You’re welcome to simply listen and absorb the energy of the space.

Is this religious or spiritual?
Women’s circles are non-religious but can have a spiritual essence. They’re about connecting with yourself intuitively, with others & nature in a meaningful way.

Who can attend?
Women’s circles are open to all women aged 18 and above, regardless of background or life stage.

What should I wear & bring?
Comfortable clothing that allows you to relax and feel at ease.
A small blanket, notepad & pen, water bottle.
Swimmers & towel if you'd like to swim afterwards.

Absolutely! Many women attend on their own and leave with new connections & friendships.

How often do circles run?
The schedule varies, but typically circles are held quarterly. Check the event calendar for upcoming dates.

How long does a circle last?
Most circles run for 2 hours, giving plenty of time for grounding, sharing, and rituals. The time goes fast!
